Moe is our very own BFG (Big Friendly Greyhound) he is a calm boy who loves people, particularly those people who give him lots of fuss and attention. He likes to make life easy for our volunteers - standing calmly and politely while waiting for his collar and lead to be put on before heading out for a walk. Moe has been enjoying time in our play paddock where he has lots of fun playing with the toys. He will happily amuse himself but loves it when he has a human to play with. He is easy to catch when play time is over - as long as there is the promise of plenty of hugs before heading back to his kennel. Moe can find life outside of kennels quite worrying and can sometimes freeze when he feels unsure about his surroundings, he does seem to be more confident walking with other hounds so a home with a confident hound may suit him. Moe can also be worried by other breeds of dog which can cause him to be quite vocal and he will need some help to learn they aren’t so scary. When feeling confident Moe walks really nicely on the lead and is a pleasure to walk and spend time with. If you can help Moe learn that life outside of kennels is not so scary, you will be repaid by the most loving and gentle of hounds.
