Hawk

How handsome is Hawk with his white and brindle coat? This gorgeous hound is affectionate and friendly, greeting everyone he meets with a wagging tail! Hawk is clean in his kennel and settled into his new routine with us very quickly.

Hawk has spent sometime in a home, but was returned due to the physical condition of his owner who describes him as very gentle, ''wonderful around children and other adults.''

On the lead, Hawk can be quite a strong dog and would be better suited to an experienced dog owner who preferably would have more time to spend with him as he is also prone to suffer from a little separation anxiety. When meeting dogs other than greyhounds, he is a little unsure of them and can sometimes be reactive. He has been out on visits to a local park with volunteers who described him as being well behaved.
