Description

*We are looking to home Oscar with no children under 10 and preferably a home with other larger dogs to help his confidence*

From his short term foster family..

Oscar can be a bit of an anxious dog.
He came into a household of 2 adults, 2 children aged 10 &14 and 2 female greyhounds aged 5 & 8.
After one day he started to wag his tail and cuddle up to you. He can somestimes be wary of men but with some love and reassurance, he soon starts to feel more comfortable.
In the time he has been with us he has learnt so much and shown his sweet personality.
He got used to noises in the house and his housetraining got better daily.
He walks well on the lead and doesn't show any aggression to other dogs.
He was scared at first especially when cars drove past quickly or with cyclists coming towards him, but he just hides behind you.
He loves cheese and food in general which makes his training much easier.
He knows the commands 'no', 'leave it', 'stay' and 'come'.
When he gets excited his tail wags like crazy and he has the sweetest smile. He loves his cuddles and belly rubs.
We really hope he gets the chance he deserves as he will make a fantastic companion. Oscar has so much love to give.
It was a pleasure to have him as part of the family and help him gain his confidence.
Oscar will always have a special place in our hearts and we will miss him.
