Description

A bit about Raisin from her previous short term foster family..

Hello! I am Raisin, a shiny, black greyhound girl. I will be 5 in August. I am housetrained and will go about 8 hours between trips down the garden at night. I don’t mind being left on my own for a while as I do not suffer from separation anxiety. I love to bask in the sun. Inside, I lie quietly on my bed until food or walk time. I get on with all other dogs, even the small snarly, yappy ones, which I generally just ignore. I do like trying to chase pussycats and squirrels, though, so it would be best not to have small furries in the home with me. I love my food but I am not food aggressive with other dogs. At human mealtimes I stay quietly in my bed but hope there might be a titbit when they have finished. I have lived in a home and then I have been in a foster home for a few weeks. It is lovely being in a home but I like to play and the hound that I was living with in my foster home didn’t like to play and growled and snarled at me when I tried to persuade her. My foster Dad thought that it wasn’t fair to either of us so I have come back to the kennels. I hope somebody gives me a home very soon so I can settle down. I am a really lovely, friendly girl and would love somebody to cuddle me.
